IBP is providing the quantitative survey services for RentBetter. Eddy has over 25 years’ experience in social and economic research work across the UK, having worked for clients such as economic development agencies, government departments and  several local authorities as well as many individual commercial businesses and social enterprises, including many of the most significant social landlords in Scotland. He has delivered training support across the UK on issues such as community engagement, marketing, business strategy and was an online tutor on the Homes and Communities Agency’s Sustainable Place-making Programme. Eddy leads IBP’s research function, which delivers a wide range of work including: tenant and owner surveys for social landlords; consultation and citizen satisfaction surveys for local authorities; economic impact research at events and festivals; and citizens’ panel research. Eddy has a BA in Politics from Stirling University, holds the Certificate of the Market Research Society, the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma, the ACCA Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance and an MBA.
